This particular reliquary resembles the shape of a monstrance (a sacramental used to contain the Blessed Sacrament for special display and veneration). A relic of the True Cross is, of course, in the center, with the relics of Sts. John the Baptist, Mary Magdalene, Lawrence, Dionysius, Blase, Stephen (the first martyr), & a shred of the Sacred Winding Sheet.

On the outer rim are relics of Sts. Anthony of Padua, Nicholas, Agnes, Barbara, Sebastian, Catherine, Cecilia, & Lambert. Silver medallions representing the same saints are affixed to the base of the reliquary. The beautiful work and engraving state that this reliquary wasy made in the city of Aachen in the year 1880 by August Witte.

This reliquary has been used since the time of Father Mollinger to bless the people following the novena service in honor of St. Anthony of Badua.
